Plagiarism Policy
The Journal of Global Health Synapse is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited.
- Plagiarism Detection
All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software to assess originality and similarity. Authors are expected to ensure that their work is original and properly cited. - Author Responsibility
Authors must confirm that their submission is original and has not been published elsewhere. Proper acknowledgment of all sources is mandatory. - Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes copying ideas, text, data, tables, figures, or graphical material from other sources without appropriate citation. This also includes self-plagiarism, where authors reuse their own previously published work without disclosure. - Citation and Attribution
Any material taken directly from another source must be properly cited. Verbatim text should be placed within quotation marks or appropriately formatted. - Self-Plagiarism and Prior Work
Reuse of content from theses, working papers, or conference proceedings must be clearly cited and disclosed at the time of submission. - Figures, Tables, and Illustrations
Reproduction of figures, charts, or tables from previously published work without proper citation or permission is considered plagiarism. - Disclosure Requirements
Authors must disclose any overlap with previously published or submitted work in the cover letter to the editor. - Editorial Action
In cases of suspected plagiarism, the Editorial Board will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include manuscript rejection, correction, or retraction.
